My mistake, my motivation

Mistakes are one of the inevitable realities of life. They become destructive when they are not carefully managed.

The best way to live a mistake-free life is to cease to exist. Even in our silence and passiveness, we can make mistakes.

My mistakes are not wholly negative, they are eye-openers to my inadequacies and a trigger to intensify my need of God and others.

My mistakes are not opportunities to see only the dark side of life, they are avenues to learn and acquaint myself with the real terrain of life.

My mistakes are opportunities to work harder for progress rather than to dwell in fruitless complaints and regrets.

My mistakes are not chains for self imprisonment, they are my strongest motivation to self knowledge and self improvement.

Do not aspire to make mistakes in life but aspire to accept, learn and grow from your mistakes when they come your way.

God bless and keep you.

The best tool for the wrong purpose

Of what productive use is a public address system when it is solely used to create noise and discomfort, rather than to aid hearing?

It is not enough to possess the best tool, it becomes useful only when it is put into right and productive use.

Many people have knowledge and experience about life but they use them to project themselves and abuse the vulnerable.

Some people have the truth and courage but they only use them to criticise and condemn destructively.

Others have great ideas but they use them to destroy societal values rather than to uphold and protect them.

Some have strength and unfailing zeal but they use them to pull others down rather than to uplift them.

*Our intelligence, abilities, gifts, courage, opportunities and experiences will be meaningless and useless when they are solely used to the detriment of common good.*

It is not enough to posses truth, courage, knowledge, ideas, experience, strength and zeal, put them into prudent and productive use.

May the Lord continue to guide and guard you

You can be loved for the wrong cause…

When ideas, policies and actions favour us, we do not normally look at their moral implications.

Do not be carried away when people acclaim you to be good. You can be approved for the wrong cause.

Evaluate critically popular acclamations to see whether they are morally and ethically sound.

Some people will love and praise you to be good because you compromise what is right to favour them.

Others will see you as spotless because they ignorant of your bad conducts.

Some people will also applaud you because they are not directly affected by your dubious acts.

Be careful of how you accept tags of goodness, it might encourage you to do the wrong to favour others rather than what is right.

patience

So far as people do not lament over your actions does not always mean they are not hurt but because they are strong to endure.

Many are silent on your provocative words not because they afraid of you but because they have mastery over their emotions.

Do not take people’s silence and their ability to endure for granted;

When you are always loud, heard, listened to, able to outwit and exploit your peers do not make you better than them.

Do not take people for granted, silence, patience and endurance are not always marks of ignorance, passivity and stupidity, but also a self mastery.

Sometimes, the appropriate and the powerful reaction is in inaction, silence and endurance.

Do not overlook and undervalue others solely by their passive reactions to your actions-provoking conducts.

God bless you.

Let go, to grow

There certain people and things that readily give passing benefits to compromise lasting future benefits

There are some conducts that are fashionable but destructive, until you let them go, do not expect any progress in life.

Some people make life comfortable and joyful for us, until we master the courage to let them go, we can never grow.

You are holding on to certain pleasant but retrogressive mentality, attitude and conduct that are impeding your strides to success, let them go, so that you can grow.

Do not only think of the transient benefits, comforts and joys today, sacrifice them for something better and greater tomorrow.

*Join me to thank God on the occasion of my birthday.*

God bless and keep you.

Proper and productive use of Potentials

Your gifts do not automatically make you useful, it depends on how you use them for your growth and the progress of the world.

Some people have the truth but they only use it to criticise destructively.

Some have great ideas but they use them to build walls rather than to build bridges.

Others have strength but they use it to destroy bridges rather than to build bridges.

Some have the unfailing zeal but they use it pull to others down rather than to uplift them.

Our usefulness is not solely in what we have acquired but how we make productive use of what we have acquired.

No matter how you are gifted, endowed and resourced, you become less useful when your actions are detrimental to your wellbeing and that of the group and society you find yourself.

Learn to make proper and productive use of your potentials, it is a certain route to growth.

God bless you.
